Having all the default widgets is confusing for users, and not everyone is savvy or interested enough to create a custom one on their own. Let administrators create a custom dashboard and set it as the default for users in their organization.

Good news -- we have some plans along these lines.
Here's what will probably happen first:
We'll implement a means to display dashboard widgets based on entitlement (so, if you're licensed for the product, we'll display the widget. If you're not, it will be absent from the dashboard). This will reduce the amount of clutter folks see.
Next we'll leverage the concept of enterprises/entities/accounts (this is in progress) in order to define WHO within an org counts as an admin. Currently, everyone is an equal opportunity 'user'
Once that's done, we can begin rolling out features by enterprise, including the ability to create and share your own widgets or dashboards.
So, it's a little ways off, yet, but we're working in that direction. Thanks for the suggestion!
